About The Core Ingredients...
 
L-Tyrosine
L-Tyrosine is a natural form non-essential amino acid formed from phenylalanine, that helps to replenish norepinephrine and is used to produce epinephrine and dopamine two brain chemicals that influence mood and reduce stress. It has been shown to effectively improve cognition in the presence of an acute stressor, typically high intensity exercise such as bodybuilding. In particular, L-Tyrosine can acutely increase the production of noradrenaline and dopamine contributing to an increase in attention and cognitive performance.
 
The most efficacious dose is from 500 to 2,000 milligrams per serve.
 
Alpha GPC (L Alpha Glycerylphosphorylcholine)
Alpha GPC is a form of choline that is used for enhancing cognitive performance and increasing power output via its influence on growth hormone production.
Alpha GPC is both a source of phospholipids and choline and is utilized for phosphatidylcholine (PC) biosynthesis in the brain and the production of acetylcholine, the chemical that allows for brain cells to communicate with each other.
 
Alpha GPC is effective for enhancing mental performance and improving memory and learning ability by counteracting the age-related loss of nerve cells and fibers in the brain.
 
There are actually a few products out there currently that use Alpha GPC. The problem is that more times than not it isn't dosed high enough to gain these effects listed above. When taken as a pre workout the most efficacious dose of Alpha GPC is from 500 up to 800 milligrams.
 
L-Taurine
Most notably Taurine has been shown to contain properties that assist in the regulation of muscular contraction and force during strength and aerobic activity. Taurine acts to increase muscle force production and enhance fatigue resistance from severe high intensity exercise by increasing the efficiency of the heart (stroke volume) and maintaining cell volume (osmoregulation). To benefit from taurine the most efficacious doses are from 1,000mg to 2,000 milligrams per serve.

Caffeine (Anhydrous)
We decided to only use one source of caffeine (caffeine anhydrous) due to the other nootropic enhancement compounds in our product. As this is a high stimulant pre workout one full serving (2 scoops) will give you 400 milligrams of caffeine. Possessed is both a high stimulant and a high nootropic pre workout. Caffeine stimulates the release of the catecholamine’s Adrenaline and Noradrenaline, which provide mental energy, and has been linked to directly increasing both strength and endurance performance when consumed pre-workout.

L-Theanine

L-Theanine is a non-essential amino acid that is most commonly found in green tea leaves. It can also be derived from certain edible mushroom species. Due to its ability to affect brain function, L-Theanine is considered a nootropic amino acid. 

L-Theanine has also been shown to improve attention and mood when combined with caffeine. When used before exercise, L-Theanine has been shown to improve reaction times and reduce feelings of tiredness and mental fatigue. As these combined effects are highly desirable for athletes competing in high stress, performance based sports, L-Theanine has become very popular with elite professional athletes. The most efficacious dose of L-Theanine is 100-200mg per serve.
